Who we are & what we do

Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa was established in the early 1980s under the flagship of the Te Arawa Trust Board. It wasn’t until November 1990 that Te Reo Irirangi o Te Te Arawa became an incorporated entity under the Charitable Trust Act.

In 1992 Te Rūnanga Nui o Te Arawa was nominated as the Licence Holder.

Throughout our long history, Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa (TRIOTA) has distinguished itself as a nimble and future focused iwi radio station with the ability to respond to the needs of the station as well as Te Arawa audiences as we fulfil our mission.
